Ms. Deborah Elaine Gary, owner and operator of Writing It Right, has been a free-lance journalist for over twenty years. Having interviewed such celebrities as Redd Foxx, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Dick Gregory, Curtis Mayfield, Reverend Al Sharpton, The Temptations, and many others too numerous to mention, Ms. Gary-Britton now directs her talents to educating children with subjects that are not traditionally taught in public school systems. A former editorial columnist, a poetess, and author of a book of poems written as personal tribute to God entitled ‘Poems of Praise and Inspiration, of which some have been published nationally, Ms. Deborah Elaine Gary has always fought for justice through the power of the pen. As creator of ‘Info Ivan’, Deborah is now committed to exposing and instilling in young people the roles African Americans have played in the progression of America. The image of ‘Info Ivan’ is an attempt by one woman to show young people that education is key and proper appearance is essential to achieving goals and fulfilling dreams.
